-Lead and manage all aspects of a comprehensive Intramural Sports Program
-Direct the operations of over 25 Club Sports
-Supervise the recruitment, selection, training and scheduling of student employees
-Market and promote all aspects of the Intramural and Club Sports programs
-Counsel student officer and develop student leadership opportunities

Professional:
-James was a Graduate Assistant at UW-L for the Recreational Sports Department from 2006-2008.
-James has been the Assistant Director of Intramural and Club Sports at UW-Whitewater since July 2008.

Personal:
-James returned to his alma mater after attending graduate school in La Crosse.
-While an undergrad at UW-W James played on the Varsity Soccer Team.
-Interests include playing soccer, softball, racquetball and pickleball, attending live sporting events and spending time with his family and fiancee, Allison.
-His favorite sports teams are the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks and Chelsea FC.
