-Direct the operations of the Intramural Sports program, including scheduling programs and facilities, developing, promoting, supervising, and evaluating all programs
-Direct the operations of over 30 club sports, including program finances and schedule development, promotion of club membership and club activities, and evaluation of activities
-Supervise the recruitment, selection, training and scheduling of student employees
-Market and promote all aspects of the Intramural and Club Sports programs, including web page development and usage
-Counsel student officer and develop student leadership opportunities
-Assist the Director of Recreation Sports and Facilities in the operation of the Williams Center including supervision of equipment set-up and take-down for intercollegiate athletic events and special events

-James was a Graduate Assistant at UW-L for the Recreational Sports Department from 2006-2008.
-James has been the Assistant Director of Intramural and Club Sports at UW-W since July 2008.
-James returned to his alma mater after attending graduate school in La Crosse.
-While an undergrad at UW-W James played on the Varsity Soccer Team.
-Interests include officiating soccer, attending live sporting events and spending time with his family and wife, Allison.
-His favorite sports teams are the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, Chelsea FC and the United States National Soccer Team.
