Water Ski/Wakeboard Club

Overview

The University of Wisconsin Whitewater Water Ski and Wakeboard Team was established in 1998. The team has come a long way since 1998 when they used personal boats; they currently use two Malibu boats. The team practices daily on the Rock River in Janesville with the Janesville Rock Aqua Jays. The team competes in slalom, jump, trick, and wakeboarding. They have beginners all the way up to people who are on the verge of turning pro. They compete against a variety of Wisconsin schools and other Division 1 schools from around the Midwest and country. They host a wakeboard tournament every spring in Janesville at the Rock River. They compete, but they place an emphasis on becoming better at what you do and above all, having fun!
