What do Intramural Sports mean to you?: It means a development opportunity that can be applied to any job in the future.  It is a unique experience that involves so many aspects of effective communication.
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: There's nothink like it!  Literally!  Students against students in a friendly yet competitive environment.  A fun way to have fun and live healthy.

To Relax, I: Enjoy camping and the outdoors along with playing softball
I wouldn't be where I am today without: My family.  They have always supported me in everything I do.  My parents have allowed me to have a lot of great opportunities that have shaped who I am today.
Personal Goal for the year: To help train the new supervisors, and continue to uphold the reputation of Rec Sports on our campus
What do Intramural Sports mean to you?: It's not only a job for me, but has become my family, and a huge part of my life at Whitewater.  It has provided many valuable skills that I can take with me after college and give me a way for me to stay active and involved on campus.  My college experience would have been very different without Intramural Sports.
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: I think people should participate in Intramural Sports because it is a great way to stay active.  It provides an opportunity to take time away from school work, relax, and have fun with their current friends and make new friends in the process.  Intramural Sports also provides everyone an opportunity to participate, no matter what their ability level is, and to try new sports.

I wouldn't be where I am today without: My grandfather, he gave me a great example of how to treat others and always did things with others in mind.  He was a selfless person and I strive to be like him.
Personal Goal for the year: To become proficient in the coordinator role as well as proficient in the rules of Softball
What do Intramural Sports mean to you?: Intramurals are a great way to meet new people and enjoy the sports you love.  They are a great way to escape the day and just have fun
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: They are an excellent way to meet and make new friends as well as stay active.  Some of my best friends I've met playing sports and that is another great way to do that

Personal Goal for the year: I want to improve my leadership skills, continue to grow my knowledge of sports and be a resource for the officials and help them improve their skills
What do Intramural Sports mean to you?: It is a way to get away from school.  I get to continue to compete and be involved in sports while making new friends on campus.  It is a way for me to stay healthy while having fun.  Being on staff grows my professional skills and gives me an opportunity to be a part of something I love
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: It's a great way to meet new people and be involved in something that isn't about school.  You can choose from a wide variety of sports, from Basketball to Innertube Water Polo, there really is a sport for everyone!

I wouldn't be where I am today without: Learning to laugh at myself and having a positive attitude!
Personal Goal for the year: I want to run Flag Football to the best of my ability, and make sure all players and officials have a great time.  I would also like to defend the Co-Rec Flag Football crown, and repeat as Champions!
What do Intramural Sports mean to you?:
 It means everything to me!  What started out as a job my freshman year has developed into so much more.  Through Intramural Sports, I've made friends and memories that will surely last a lifetime.
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: Whether students are playing Intramurals, or officiating, they are sure to have a good time.  Also, you don't have to be a world class athlete to play.  Get a team of your friends together and go out and have a good time!


TONY SOFIA

Dream Job: The guy who puts vasoline on UFC fighters before they go into the cage

To Relax, I: Talk to people, which I'm told I can do.  Otherwise pretending to be flexible enough for yoga or listening to MMA podcasts
I wouldn't be where I am today without: My parents of course, their hard work is a direct correlation to who I am as a person so they did pretty well.  Also, anyone who doubted or believed in me, it's how we are all defined.  And lastly Dan Champion, we have always strived together and now we are working hard separately and it's awesome to see the paths we are on.
Personal Goal for the year: Run WIRSA BB as smoothly as possible.  That's number 1 for me.  Also, continue running Floor Hockey well and maybe learn a little something along the way
What do Intramural Sports mean to you?: 
It's a career path for myself, it's something I genuinely love and it's put me into some amazing positions as a person and as a future professional in the field
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: Duh!  Having yoru champ shirt on!  But more importantly (maybe) it brings comradery to your friend group, you can meet thousands of new people, and most importantly it's all about the fun and exercise.

I wouldn't be where I am today without: My parents and the rest of my family and friends for all their support and allowing me to do what I want do to with my life
Personal Goal for the year: I want to make myself better and make the program better.  I look forward to working with everyone and being albe to train the new officials and use my experiences to help give tips to make them better as well, I look foward to stepping into and learning from a leadership position and all of the responsibilities it holds
What do Intramural Sports mean to you?: 
It's a way to take a break from school and have lots of fun on campus.  I have make a lot of friends whether it be from working with the students, officiating for them, or playing with them.  I look foward to walking into the gym or onto the fields knowing that each night, no matter what I'm doing, I will be having fun doing it with my friends
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: Its a great way to relax and exercise on campus.  It is a way to still be competitive while having a lot of fun.  Students can also come out to watch and make friends outside of classes and form a team of their own as well

Personal Goal for the year: I would like to challenge myself to do exactly that - challenge myself.  I think last year I took it a little easy, so this year I would like to be more active and involved, and encourage myself to be stretched out of my comfort zones.
What do Intramural Sports mean to you?:
 It means a place to de-stress and hang out with friends, and it also means a healthy and fun environment for people across campus to come and enjoy themselves.
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: People should participate in Intramurals because they are an awesome way for people to have fun on campus and to think about things unrelated to school.  We really do live by our motto, as there truly is a sport for everyone, so I would encourage people to take advantage of those opportunities while they can.

What do Intramural Sports mean to you?: IM SPORTS ARE LIFE!  Without them I would surely be much more overweight and have significantly less friends.  On a serious note, the points I listed above are still true, but they are very important to me.  They often get me through the tough weeks because I always look forward to competing with my friends
Why should students participate in Intramural Sports?: So many reasons, but to name a few.... it's a great way to get or stay in shape, make friends, keep the friends you made.... get involved with other ways of thinking as well as teamwork and competitive games
