Learning from Warhawks - Whitewater Summer Camp

Warhawks playing internationally

Tomorrow, we expect 85 kids to arrive in Whitewater to play wheelchair basketball and learn from our Warhawks. Every year since 1993, we host a summer camp to teach wheelchair basketball to children between the age of 8 and 18 years.

The camp is directed and coached by current Warhawk athletes and staff members as well as USA athletes and coaches. Sometimes, we even have a few helpers from other known colleges and club teams all over the US or overseas. This year, the camp will have a total of 40 experienced staff members!

The main goal of the camp is to have a great time and create opportunities to play wheelchair basketball. Some of us are attending the camp every year, some are new, but all of us have tons of fun and great competitions. Whitewater’s Wheelchair Athletics are proud to be able to offer such an opportunity to anyone.

Thank you to everyone that helps, to everyone that keeps recommending this camp and thank you to all of you that have or will participate! We are looking forward to another fun week and hope to see you there!
