2013-14 Room Reapplication Process:
What You Need To Know!
- Most importantly, if you lived on campus in the past and went through Room Reapplication before, you need to forget about how the process has been done in the past as there are a number of significant changes to the process this year. Please note that applications are done in phases this year. Read carefully.

Starin Hall
- January 23 - February 1:
Applications will be accepted for Starin Hall.
Applications are available on the Residence Life website and students must submit application along with 2013-14 housing contracts. - February 6:
Students that applied for Starin Hall will be notified if they are granted a suite.
Students will be notified by their university e-mail account. - February 11 - 15:
Students granted suites within Starin will select specific suite locations during this week.
Students will be notified by their university e-mail account as to what day and time they will need to come to Goodhue Hall (2nd floor) to select a suite. - Students that submitted suite applications but were not granted suites will be eligible to apply for the apartments (Cambridge / Fox Meadows) or the standard residence halls.

Cambridge / Fox Meadows Apartments
- February 6 - 20:
Applications will be accepted for the Cambridge and Fox Meadows Apartments
Applications are available on the Residence Life web site and students must submit an application along with 2013-14 housing contracts. - Feburary 26:
Students that applied for Cambridge and Fox Meadows Apartments will be notified if they are granted an apartment.
Students will be notified by their university e-mail account. - March 4 - 8:
Students granted apartments in Cambridge or Fox Meadows will select specific apartment locations during this week.
Students will be notified by their university e-mail account as to what day and time they will need to come to Goodhue Hall (2nd floor) to select an apartment. - Students that submitted apartment applications but were not granted an apartment will be eligable to apply for the standard residence halls.
- February 6 - 20:

Room Selection for Tutt Hall Triples and Goodhue Hall 4th Floor
- Reminder: Students wishing to reside in Goodhue Hall may only do so for the Fall 2013 Semester.
They must be eligible to leave the university after the Fall 2013 Semester. - February 26 - March 5:
Applications to live in a triple room in Tutt Hall and applications to live on the 4th Floor of Goodhue Hall are available on the Residence Life website,
and will be accepted at the Goodhue Hall 1st Floor Desk along with a completed 2013-2014 Housing Contract. - March 7:
Students who receive a Tutt Hall Triple or a placement on the 4th Floor of Goodhue Hall will be notified via university e-mail.
- Reminder: Students wishing to reside in Goodhue Hall may only do so for the Fall 2013 Semester.

Room Selection for all rooms in standard residence halls (other than Starin Hall, Goodhue 4th Floor, Tutt Hall Triples, Fox Meadows and Cambridge Apartments)
- All students that submit 2013-14 housing contract (other than those that are granted Starin Hall, Goodhue 4th Floor, Tutt Hall Triples or Apartments) will need to select a room during the room selection open access period April 9-30. Note that this year, students who turn in a housing contract with a preferred roommate indicated, and their preferred roommate does as well, they will be able to access the room reapplication website the first week April 1-5, before the general access period April 9-30.
- NO STUDENTS WILL BE PLACED BACK IN THEIR CURRENT ROOM AUTOMATICALLY AS HAS BEEN THE PRACTICE IN THE PAST.
- TO ACCESS THE FIRST SELECTION PERIOD, BOTH STUDENTS MUST INDICATE EACH OTHER ON THEIR CONTRACT AS THE PERFERRED ROOMMATE.
- IF YOU ARE GRANTED ACCESS TO THE FIRST SELECTION PERIOD AND DO NOT SELECT A ROOM WITH YOUR INDICATED ROOMMATE, YOU WILL BE REMOVED AND ASKED TO RESELECT DURING GENERAL ACCESS PERIOD.
- March 22: Deadline to submit a contract to be guaranteed access to the residence hall room selection web site on the first day of eligibility. Contracts will still be accepted after this date, but there may be a delay in getting access to the selection site for contracts submitted after March 22nd.
- April 8-12:
Open Web Access for residence hall room selection for all students, who have submitted contracts by March 22nd and in which both roommates indicated each other on their contracts. All room assignments become final when the web site shuts down at 4:00 PM on April 30. - April 16-30
Open Web Access for residence hall room selection for all students who submitted their contract by March 22nd, with or without a roommate selected. All room assignments become final when the web site shuts down at 4:00 PM on April 30.
Reapplication Process and Important Dates
January 23 - February 1

February 6 - 20:
Applications will be accepted for Fox Meadows and Cambridge Apartments.
Week of February 11:
Selection of specific Starin Hall Suites for those approved for a suite. Selection will take place on 2nd floor of Goodhue Hall. Priority on suites will be based off numerous factors including number of semesters living in the halls, credits earned, etc.
February 26 - March 5: Applications will be accepted for Tutt Hall Triples and Goodhue Hall 4th Floor. Applications will be available via the Residence Life website.
Week of March 4: Students who are granted a spot in either Fox Meadows or Cambridge Apartments will be selecting their specific apartment. Selection will take place on 2nd Floor Goodhue Hall, and priority will be based on numerous factors including number of semester living in the halls, credits earned, etc.
March 7: Students who applied for Tutt Hall Triples or Goodhue Hall 4th Floor will be notified if they are granted a placement there via their university e-mail account.
March 22: Deadline to submit a contract to be guaranteed access to the residence hall room selection website on the first day of eligibility for your situation. Students will a mutually agreed on roommate may be eligible for the first selection period April 1-5. The general access period is April 9-30.
Contracts will still be accepted after this date, but there may be a delay in gaining access to selection site for contract submitted after March 22nd.
April 8-12: Web Access for residence hall room selection for all students, who have submitted contracts by March 22nd and have indicated a mutually agreed roommate on both students contracts. All room assignments become final when the web site shuts down at 4:00 PM on April 30.
April 16-30: General access period for all students to the room selection site who submitted contracts by March 22nd, regardless of if they have a roommate or not. All room assignments become final when the web site shuts down at 4:00 PM on April 30.
Room Reapplication Process for 2013-2014:
- Step 1: Log on to the Residence Life web site (http://uww.edu/residencelife).
- Step 2: Follow the link to "Assignments".
- Step 3: Follow the link to "Room Reapplication".
- Step 4: Read Important UPDATES
- Step 5: Review Process and Important Dates.
- Step 6: Complete online Contract Acceptance Form.
- Step 7: Print out completed Housing and Dining Services Contract Acceptance Form.
- Step 8: Sign and Submit Contract Acceptance Form to Residence Life (Goodhue 1st floor)
- Step 9: Follow instructions for room selection and select a room during the room selection period as indicated above.
Your username and password to gain access will be the same as your official university e-mail account.
