Our cost for the programming that you receive is covered by Residence Life, your fee is used to maintain the cable infrastructure in your building and to cover staff costs associated with providing service to your location on the campus. On a per month basis, your cable connection only costs $14.83 and that money is used to maintain the cable infrastructure across campus.
Additional costs are absorbed by Residence Life. Your departmental subscription to service does not entitle you to our help in maintaining your televisions. That is the responsibility of each individual department. If we are asked to respond to an issue, and the problem originates with your device, you may incur additional chargebacks
Cable is not considered a mission-critical service and will be serviced on a staff availability basis. Campus departments are not required to use services provided by Residence Life Technology for video programming.
