Tiffany Adkins is the Program Coordinator for the Office of PreCollege Programs under the department of Student Diversity, Engagement and Success (SDES). She is a two-time University of Wisconsin-Whitewater alumni. During Tiffany’s undergrad, she participated in several student organizations on campus. She was on the Executive Board for the Black Student Union for several years in different capacities, and was also the Creative Coordinator for T.I.F.U Cultural Ensemble, in which she was the first to serve in that position. Tiffany served as Vice President and Treasurer for her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, as well. Through each of those organizations, a great deal of networking came along, which ultimately lead her to PreCollege Programs. Tiffany has been working for PreCollege since 2006, as a Tutor Counselor, Office Assistant, and Lead Coordinator/Program Coordinator, as well as Director of Summer Operations. Working with youth is a great passion of hers and to be able to work with the first generation of the underrepresented population is a plus. She looks forward to assisting, advising and overall being a resource for them every year. As a first generation college student herself, Tiffany’s goal is to utilize her experiences and knowledge to ensure each student she encounters understands that they have the opportunity to partake in a life changing experience through higher education and they are in control of what happens in their lives next!
