Nicole Jenks May worked primarily as a teacher and school principal before becoming the Office Operations Associate serving the Undergraduate Research and University Honors Programs. Before coming to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Nicole focused her work on the benefits of bilingual-bicultural (Spanish-English) schools and parishes as well as Disability, especially Neurodiversity, in educational and library environments.  Today, she uses her background in administration, education, and library science to support programs within Student Engagement, Diversity and Success.  Nicole holds a B.A. in English/Theatre Arts from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, supported by some coursework from UW-Whitewater's fantastic Department of Theatre and Dance.  She also holds two Master's from Mount Mary University (English; Education), a Master's of Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a J.D. from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.
