The New Student Seminar (INTRAUNV 104) is a course designed to help first year students make a successful transition into university life. This one-credit class will include such topics as:
- The purposes of higher education
- Setting realistic personal and academic goals
- Good time management strategies
- Study skills suited to the collegiate environment
- Getting connected to the campus through student organizations, volunteer activities, recreational activities/athletics, and/or campus employment
- Personal and academic integrity
- The many resources available on campus
