Goal 6: Celebrating Accomplishments

We will celebrate the accomplishments of our campus community.

Objective 1: We will enhance the way in which we tell the story of our programs, faculty, staff, students, emeriti, and alumni achievements.

Primary Action:
Implement new story-telling and marketing strategies.  

Here's how:
Establish a campus-wide Marketing Coordinating Council to determine how we are conducting marketing across campus, and identify strengths and gaps in how we are promoting our programs in order to make improvements.  

Key Performance Indicator:
Documentation of effectiveness of new story-telling and marketing strategies focused on programs, faculty, staff, students, emeriti, and alumni achievements.  

Objective 2: We will strongly articulate and demonstrate the value of the university to the region, state, and beyond.   

Primary Action:
Use the Marketing Coordinating Council to provide feedback on implementation of marketing strategies that reinforce the university's mission, vision, and values.  

Here's how:
Determine what perceptions exist about the university among various internal and external stakeholder groups and develop marketing strategies to reinforce or counter those perceptions.  

Key Performance Indicator:
Documentation of effectiveness of new university marketing strategies.
