Come to the Events

This is the easiest way to show your support… just show up and participate!  Keep an eye on our home page for upcoming events, especially during our larger events like RecycleMania and Earth Week.  Take a look at our past events to get an idea of what has taken place on campus during previous semesters.

Help Out with Events

Want to help out with the planning or implementation of an event or project that promotes sustainability?  We ALWAYS need extra help in this area and will gladly work with you!  Please contact us to find out how you can help or join Students Allied for a Green Earth (S.A.G.E.).  There is a wide variety of possibilities here!

Get Your Student Organization Involved

Planning an event or project is also a great way to get your student organization in on the fun! This can also be a great way for Greeks and any other organizations that need to fulfill community service hours to satisfy their goals. You can contact us for ideas or just to let us know what you're doing so we can tell people about it.

Volunteer

Do you want to promote sustainability beyond our campus?  Utilize the Community Service Clearinghouse search tool (select Category as “Environment”) to find out how you can help make our local environment better for everyone.  You can also contact Steve Bertagnolli, UW-Whitewater’s Grounds Supervisor, at 472-6721 for prairie restoration work opportunities on campus.
