Student Organizations

There are several student organizations that are engaged in sustainability. Please take a look at what these student organizations are doing to help further our efforts on campus and consider pitching in!

Joining a Learning Community

There are a couple Learning Communities offered by the University that provide students with invaluable networking and educational experiences while addressing issues of sustainability within their own context.  Check out their website for more information on this great program and currently available learning communities, including:

Students Allied for a Green Earth (S.A.G.E.)

Formerly known as Campus Greens, we are the student environmental group at UW-Whitewater.  Our members have participated in a variety of sustainability events and projects, including RecycleMania and Earth Week.  Stop by our meetings and check out our website or Facebook group to learn more.  Meeting time and location for Fall 2009 will be announced soon.
