

CyberGirlz is a FREE camp designed for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls who are interested in learning more about technology. Campers will be instructed by a combination of UW-Whitewater staff, students and IT professionals. Campers will participate in a number of fun activities which will introduce various Information Technology topics.
New for 2012
The camp will be two full days instead of five half days. Snacks and lunch will be provided both days.
What will Campers Do?
Campers will be in tracks with other girls who are in the same grade. Sample track activities are listed below:
6th grade:
Programming with Alice
Digital photography
Digital scrapbooking
Digital video
Web Design
7th grade:
Programming with Scratch
GPS navigation
Podcasting
Web Design
8th grade:
Programming with Advanced Scratch
Glogster
Digital Message Board programming
HTML programming
In addition to the above technologies, campers will have the opportunity to participate in various presentations and on-campus field trips to learn about technology careers and how technology is used in everyday life.
