Online Resources for Girls in Technology

 

If you're interested in exploring a career in science, math, engineering, or technology (known as the STEM fields) check out these sites to interact with girls just like you, read more about these fields, and start learning more about today's high-tech industries.

Imagine Engineering
A project run by the Girl Scouts of America, this site lets you explore different engineering disciplines, read advice from professionals, and connect with different organizations. 

Dot Diva
A site for young women dedicated to using computing power to make a difference. The organization includes ways to interact with other Dot Divas, as well as profiles of many women technology professionals.

Club Girl Tech
Has games, products, chat and lots of resources for girls who are interested in technology.

Nerd Girls
A site that celebrates intelligent and individual girls with profiles and blog posts, and encourages young women to explore careers in STEM fields.

Alice.org
The official site for the educational software designed for young teens, Alice is the ideal introduction to programming and animation for middle and high school students. The website includes a free download.
