- Treatment for illnesses & minor injuries, including laboratory tests and medications
- Contraceptives, including the morning after pill
- Annual GYN examinations

University Health & Counseling Services is not an emergency facility. In case of emergency, call 911.
Scheduling an Appointment
You can schedule appointments online! Just click the “My UHCS”
link on the left and enter your university-assigned username and password to
access our secure Electronic Medical Records portal.
You can also schedule health service appointments by calling UHCS at 262-472-1300. For counseling appointments, please call 262-472-1305.

Student Eligibility for UHCS Services
All students currently enrolled in UW-Whitewater classes are eligible for services. During the summer, students who are not enrolled in summer session or students who have graduated in the spring can choose to pay a one-time fee to continue services at UHCS. Students who are enrolled in summer session can receive health services for no additional fee.
Qualifications of Our Staff
We have a full time medical supervisor who is board certified in family practice,
plus a part-time family practice physician, and a limited-schedule, a board-certified
consulting psychiatrist. In addition, we have four nurse practitioners on staff
who are certified by the State of Wisconsin to provide health care, including
