Media Reported Events

Should an event of potential interest to the media occur on campus, the following steps will be taken:

  1. The Chancellor or a member of the administration designated by her, will notify the Director of News & Publications Services of the nature of the situation. (Phone 472-1193). If the Director is not available, the News Services Officer should be notified. (Phone 472-1195).

  2. The Director or News Services Officer will make appropriate arrangements for providing news of the event to the media.

  3. All requests for information regarding the event should be referred to the News & Publications Services Office. All information will be released by either the Chancellor or her authorized representative or by the News & Publications Services Office.
