This Committee membership derives from the four colleges and several administrative units and serves as an advisory body to the university community, to the Director of the Office of International Education and Programs,and to the Chancellor concerning all aspects of international education and programs.
The Committee will help discern the strategic focus of university international education endeavors and will make specific recommendations to internationalize the campus, particularly with regard to the curriculum.
The Committee will serve as a reference and resource for the colleges, curriculum committees and other campus units regarding the integration of international programs into the curriculum and will generally serve as the international education advocacy group to the campus at large.
The Committee or its designated representativeswill form part of the standard institutional review process for proposals involving new exchange agreements with universities and other educational entities abroad and faculty-led, travel study courses and will make recommendations regarding the establishment and implementation of these programs.
The Committee of the Whole will select an Executive Committee from the membership to represent the Committee with the Director requires immediate assistance or when expedient action is required.  The Executive Committee will generally not exceed five (5) members of the Committee of the Whole.  Other subcommittees may be formed as necessary.
