The Optimist Club of Whitewater has been helping to provide toys for less fortunate children of the Whitewater community for the past 24 years. This year working with the Whitewater Food Pantry the club assisted 351 kids. The program would not work without the great community support. One picture is Duane Dickens receiving gifts collected by the employees at Weiler & Company. Others assisting are: First English Church, St Patrick's Catholic Church, Congregational Church, First United Methodist Church, St Luke's Episcopal Church, Lakeview Elementary School, Marino Girl Scout Troup, R J's Towing (U-Haul) Service, Whitewater Police Department, Charlton Whitewater, Whitewater High School Octigon Club, University of Whitewater Student Optimist Club and the Community/University Optimist Club.
