UW-Whitewater wins international business awards

Corporate executives from the largest companies in Europe have recognized University of Wisconsin-Whitewater business programs as among the best in the world.

European CEO magazine named UW-Whitewater's MBA program as "Best Remote Learning Program" in North America and "Most Innovative Program" in the midwestern United States. The annual awards are chosen by chief executive officers and decision-making executives who serve on the boards of Europe's leading companies.

Christine Clements, dean of the College of Business and Economics, and Lois Smith, associate dean, traveled to the London Stock Exchange to accept the awards.

"The College of Business and Economics has been known for its excellence in the state and region for many years," Smith said. "To know that a well-respected group of international executives recognizes our online MBA for its innovation and overall quality reinforces what we all know - that a UW-Whitewater business education is world class."
