Xabier Diaz and Adufeiras de Salitre - Musician, composer and expert in Galician folklore, Xabier Diaz shares the sounds and stories of his birthplace in northwestern Spain. Using violin, accordion, and a variety of traditional percussion instruments, Xabier is joined by Adufeiras de Salitre, a group consisting of a dozen female vocalists/percussionists who sing close harmony in the Galician tradition.
Pascuala Ilabaca - Pascuala represents the new prolific scene of young Chilean singer-songwriters. Her music is rooted in traditional sounds of her country, but also incorporate shades of jazz, pop, rock and Indian influence. On stage armed with her accordion, Pascuala will help bring the day's festivities to a crescendo as she closes the show leaving us in anticipation of next year's festival.
