The arts nurture a motivation to learn by emphasizing active engagement, disciplined and sustained attention, persistence and risk taking, among other competencies. Participation in the arts also is an important strategy for engaging and motivating students at risk of dropping out of high school and for those with special needs. (NASAA)
Arts4All is a program developed to provide disadvantaged and at-risk students with the opportunity to attend multiple live theatre, dance events, and concerts throughout the school year.

Schools with an economically disadvantaged student population may apply for a subsidy to obtain reduced ticket prices, subject to availability. With the Arts4All subsidy program, teachers may apply for a reduction in ticket cost based on their school's percentage of students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. For example, if 50% of the students in your school qualify for free and reduced lunch, then your school may apply for up to a 50% discount on the price of tickets. PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of 10 students must be attending in order to apply.
The application must be completely filled out and signed by the appropriate parties to be eligible for review. Please submit one application per performance. Teachers must have made reservations for the 2014-2015 season prior to submitting the application. Each grade level per school may apply for up to two (2) performances. You may apply for both fall and spring semesters before the deadline.
Schools that attend Horizons shows through the Arts4All program remain responsible for providing bus transportation to and from Young Auditorium. It is a very good idea for your school board, administration, or PTO to build bus transportation for Arts4All into the budget at the beginning of the fiscal year, so that you are able to access those funds to pay for transportation when free tickets become available for your school.
To apply, download the application, complete it, and either email or mail it to Young Auditorium. Please include a copy of the confirmation invoice received from our office when you made the preliminary reservation. You will receive an e-mail confirmation to acknowledge receipt of your application.
