Musical Encounters Concert Series

The Musical Encounters concert series is a collaboration of the UW-Whitewater Music Faculty and Young Auditorium. The mission of the program is to expose students to classical music by linking it thematically to the curriculum and the Horizons School Matinee Series performances.  Each half hour concert is arranged, performed and narrated by UW-Whitewater music faculty and students.

The concerts are $2 per person for teachers and students who attend the corresponding Horizons performances. Fees support both Horizons programming as well as the UW-W Music Department student scholarship fund. Please make your requests for concert reservations when you reserve seats for the Horizons events by calling 262-472-4444. Reserve early - seating is limited. Call Young Auditorium's Education and Outreach Coordinator 262-472-1432 for more information.
