Home school groups must provide a copy of their DPI registration form at the time of payment. Horizons performances are not recommended for children younger than four-years-old.
RESERVATION PROCESS
STEP 1: Call 262-472-4444
8:30 am - 4:30 pm, weekdays OR
complete the online reservation request.
Please be ready to provide us with:
- Title of performance/date/time
- School name/address/phone number/contact person/e-mail address
- Total number of seats to reserve (including teachers and chaperones)
Group ticket prices are indicated by each event. Reservations for fewer than ten seats per performance do not qualify for the group rate and cost an additional $2 per seat to offset additional administrative expenses.
Tickets are not issued for Horizons performances. Groups will be escorted to their assigned seating blocks.
STEP 2: CONFIRM RESERVATION
Your reservation request is confirmed upon your receipt of an invoice and contract. Check your invoice to be sure that your contact information, the performance date and time, and the number of seats requested are correct. Keep a copy of the invoice for your records. Have a school administrator sign the contract and mail it back to us within 5 business days of receipt. Failing to return a contract does not cancel your reservation.
STEP 3: ADJUSTMENTS & SPECIAL REQUESTS
The deadline for unlimited reservation adjustments is October 12, 2012. After this date you can still make a one-time adjustment of up to 20% to your order until 8 weeks prior to the performance. All reservation adjustments must be made by phone.
Your request for accommodations for special needs must be made at least 4 weeks in advance of the performance date. American Sign Language interpretation will be provided (if possible) for only one performance of each show.
STEP 4: PAYMENT & SEATING
Please review and confirm that the information on your invoice is correct. The school principal or financial officer must sign the invoice. Do not make reservation changes on the invoice. (Handwritten changes made on an invoice by the purchaser will not be considered valid.) Call (262) 472-1432 to make changes prior to payment.
A copy of the invoice must be returned to the UW-Whitewater Cashier's Office with your payment no later than 4 weeks prior to the performance or your seats may be forfeited to accommodate school groups on a waiting list.
Reservations of 200 or more must be paid 8 weeks prior to the performance.
A minimum of 8 weeks is required for all reservation cancellations. If a cancellation is requested after this deadline, the school will remain responsible for payment of the original reservation amount.
Seating assignments are based on the date your payment is received by the UW-Whitewater Cashier's Office.
We regret that we are unable to refund payment once it has been received by the UW-Whitewater Cashier's Office. We also do not refund payment for seats not used on the day of the show.
STEP 5: STUDY GUIDES & PREPARATION
Study guides for all performances will be available online only at least 4 weeks prior to the show at our study guides page. Printed study guides will only be mailed upon special request.
All informational materials, including: bus driver memo, map, "For Your Information" sheet, and "Courtesy Counts" sheet are available on our Web site. Printed copies of this material will only be mailed upon special request.
Please distribute this information to all teachers/ chaperones and take some time to review the "Courtesy Counts" sheet with your students before arrival at our theatre.
