Through the Eyes of Jim Study Guide [pdf]

Through the Eyes of Jim is an exploration of the character "Jim" found in the classic novel Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. The series of monologues using the voice of Jim as a vehicle is designed to educate audiences, in an entertaining and non-threatening manner, on the subject of race and stereotypes often attributed to the African-American, while offering a universal message of freedom, racial and religious tolerance, equality, friendship and the concepts of love and hatred.
