Membership Sustains our Mission

Drive down Main Street in Whitewater and you are sure to notice the building with the big blue roof. The construction of the auditorium in 1993 was possible due to the dedication and financial contribution of individuals and businesses who believed in the benefits of the arts.

It is this enduring commitment to the arts from our Members that allows the Young Auditorium to continue its excellence in artistic programming.

The Young Auditorium is committed to its mission of providing world-class arts and entertainment opportunities to the community - but we cannot fulfill our mission without your help.

Financial Need

Ticket Revenue accounts for only 50% of our budget. The remaining amount has to be raised from government and private sources. The financial contribution of individuals has always played a critical role in the programming.

Value

Member Support ensures that high quality programming continues to be available at an affordable price. Tickets are often 10-20% less than in nearby cities - plus the auditorium provides a convenient and intimate venue for experiencing performances.

Community

Arts education remains a focus of our mission. Every season an average of 29,000 K-12 students attends a cultural or artistic performance at the Young Auditorium. Guarantee that the arts will continue to be a part of every child's education.
