See The Princess and the Pea a musical performance created in one short week when Missoula Children's Theatre comes to town. The two young actor/directors audition, cast, rehearse and perform a delightful original musical with 50-60 talented local youth. The Princess and the Pea is a new adaption of the original fairytale. Envision a kingdom of snow where the residents are ruled by the Storm King and the Snow Queen. Add to that a Prince looking for a proper Princess to share the throne. Now imagine the Princess and her friend the Pea living with her subjects in a kingdom of green rolling hills and running rivers, while her parents, King Size and Queen Size, do all they can to keep things running smoothly. Enjoy this new remake of an old classic!
