Combine Indian drums and sitars of the subcontinent with driving Irish fiddle and toe-tapping Celtic progressions, while keeping the dynamics fluid with bhangra world beat soundscapes and you've got Delhi 2 Dublin. Their music is a fusion of Delhi and Dublin, a mix of Bhangra, hip hop and Celtic - performed with electric sitar, Celtic fiddle, electronic mixing, reggae, Punjabi and English vocals and Indian percussion. Take a wild and borderless trip with their global sounds! Rana Santacruz kicks off the evening with Mexican Ranchero music, a joyful combination of horns, stringed instruments, banjo and accordion with peppy vocals. "Rana Santacruz . . . runs a wildly eclectic gamut from rancheras to rock, bluegrass to mariachi, nueva cancion to Irish music."
