About the strategic enrollment planning process

Dear Colleagues,

In February 2018, our campus initiated strategic enrollment planning. As you may recall, implementation of a comprehensive strategic enrollment plan is a primary action related to improving student access and success in our campus-wide Strategic Plan.

We are working with Ruffalo Noel Levitz, a nationally recognized firm that specializes in this area. The Provost's Office is leading this initiative, with myself and Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and Retention, Matt Aschenbrener co-leading the effort with Vice Provost, Greg Cook, providing additional significant leadership. A Strategic Enrollment Planning (SEP) Council made up of faculty, staff and students guides the effort.

By the end of the 2018-19 academic year we will complete a comprehensive strategic enrollment plan that will include a set of key metrics and indicators that will result in a set of strategies that will lay out a clear course to strengthen our enrollment, retention and graduation rates, and enhance the overall health and sustainability of our university.

We will send regular updates so you will be informed of the project and how you can get engaged in the process. The Strategic Planning and Budget Committee will also receive regular updates on the process.

Thank you for your support of this critical endeavor for our campus and to all of those who have contributed so far! Together we will determine the path to our continued success.
