Joan Littlefield Cook has been Director of Academic Assessment since January 2013.  She is a professor and former chair of the Psychology Department.  She has worked on assessment projects at the department, college, university, and UW-System levels during her time at UW-Whitewater, including the campus DQP project and development of the UW-Whitewater Critical Thinking and the UW-Whitewater Graduate Professional Writing Rubrics.  Her favorite part of the job is working with the faculty and staff as they develop plans and projects.


Rebecca Jones

Rebecca Jones has a shared position in Academic Assessment and Institutional Research and Planning. She received her BA from UW-Whitewater with a double major in Art-Graphic Design and Print Journalism. She received an MLIS from the University of Alabama. Rebecca is responsible for office, website, and project management. She assists with event planning, budgeting, and other projects for the department.


Allyssa Fischer

Allyssa Fischer is a second-year graduate student in the School Psychology program. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Legal Studies in May 2014 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master of Science in Education degree in May 2017 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She is currently completing her practicum in the Edgerton School District. Allyssa's specialist project focuses on the attitudes and beliefs of school staff towards students who identify as transgender. At the office, she assists with organizing meetings, events, and reports, and updating surveys and documents, in addition to various other tasks.

Yvonne Le is a second-year graduate student in the Counselor Education program. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Social Welfare in May 2009 from the University of California, Berkeley. She obtained her paralegal certificate in 2011 and worked as a paralegal for three years in California before moving to Madison with her husband, who is completing a PhD in Food Science at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. At the office, she assists with campus-wide projects, compiling reports, organizing meetings and events, updating various documents, updating the Academic Assessment website, and various other projects.
