Catherine Chan has been the interim Director of Academic Assessment since April 2019.  She is a professor in the Departments of Chemistry and Biological Sciences. She is active as an advocate of high-impact educational practices and has served a variety of roles on this campus as well as in state and national organizations on undergraduate research. She has experience working on a variety of assessment projects, especially those related to student learning and academic outcomes of high-impact educational practices and student success programs. Her favorite part of this role is the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across campus.

Yvonne Le is a second-year graduate student in the Counselor Education program. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Social Welfare in May 2009 from the University of California, Berkeley. She obtained her paralegal certificate in 2011 and worked as a paralegal for three years in California before moving to Madison with her husband, who is completing a PhD in Food Science at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. At the office, she assists with campus-wide projects including Assessment Day and the Assessment Institute, compiling reports, organizing meetings and events, assisting with program audit and review, updating the Academic Assessment website, and various other projects.


Morgan Barber

Morgan Barber is a first-year graduate student in the School Psychology program. In May 2018 She earned her BA in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. At the office her responsibilities include assisting with campus-wide projects, organizing meetings and other events, and editing and reviewing documents, in addition to working on several other projects.

Madison Johnson is a first-year graduate student in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May 2018 from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. At the office, she helps with campus-wide projects, compiles reports, schedules meetings and events, edits and reviews various documents, updates the Academic Assessment website, as well as various other projects.
