Why Arts Management?

The Arts Management program can offer you a variety of things. First and foremost, it can be paired with almost any major. Arts Management is going to help you in any career choice because it is going to give you a creative edge, which brings me to my next reason it is right for you. Employers are looking for someone with a creative spark because that is what is really going to drive an organization. When an organization is caught in a rut and they need to get out of it they need someone with the creativity to look at the situation from another viewpoint and be able to come up with a way to get around the issue.

The most successful marketing campaigns are derived from that same creative outlet. That is why even some businesses are looking for someone with some sort of artistic background. They are looking for someone who is creative, resilient, flexible, has a high tolerance for risk and ambiguity and most importantly, isn't afraid to fail. They need risk takers and artists typically have that attribute because they have worked towards something and don't always succeed.

Arts Management has a lot to offer and is a very innovative minor. There are many different aspects of the minor and it doesn't always have to be directly related to the arts. As said before, this minor can be paired with any major and can help you in the future.
