It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 41st annual UW-Whitewater Early Childhood Conference! I have been involved in the conference for several years and like so many early childhood educators, I feel like this is a special time for us to gather, share, and grow together. This year, I am excited to serve in the role of coordinator and am beyond grateful to Robin Fox and the other coordinators who served before me to make this conference what it is today.
We are also excited to announce that we will kick-off the conference on Saturday with Keynote Speaker Ann Terrell, author of the recent publication “Graceful Leadership in Early Childhood Education”. During the keynote Ann will share some of the lessons learned on her leadership journey to becoming an award winning, effective, and inspiring leader. That’s just a sneak peak of some of the AMAZING presenters who will be with us this year. We will also have vendors and a silent auction. Please check our website for updates along with our Facebook page (UW-Whitewater Early Childhood Conference). Thank you for all that you do for children and families and for “Leading the Way”! I can’t wait to see you in April and I’m honored to be a part of this amazing conference.
Kristen Linzmeier, Conference Coordinator
