UW-Whitewater Women's Soccer College Prep

You are invited to the UW-Whitewater Women’s Soccer College Prep clinic.  This clinic offers the opportunity to see the UW-Whitewater campus, athletic facilities, and work with the nationally recognized Warhawk Soccer Coaching Staff. This clinic is available to players in grades 9-12.

Registrations accepted online until noon 3/13/20 clinic one; 8/2/19 clinic two. We do accept walk up registrations at event check-in, if space is available.   Walk-up registration will be available  to download here after the online registration closes.

Clinic Fee: $95

Registrations are taken on a first come first serve basis. 

Fees Include

The fee includes lunch, instruction and insurance. 

Refunds

All registrant accounts must be paid in full three weeks (21 days) prior to the start of event. Registrants with outstanding balances after payment is due in full are subject to being removed from the event roster without refund. Please contact Continuing Education Services at cesevents@uww.edu prior to this deadline if extenuating circumstances prevent you from completing a payment.

In the event of a cancellation, Continuing Education Services should be notified no later than 21 days before the start of the event session in order to receive a refund, less 20% administrative fee. Cancellation requests received less than 21 days from the start of camp will receive a refund minus 50% late cancellation fee of event cost. Cancellations due to medical reasons will receive a full refund, less the 20% administrative fee, if the cancellation is requested and medical documentation is provided prior to the start of event. Valid medical cancellations must include a signed letter from a licensed physician to qualify. NO REFUNDS will be given for withdrawal due to early departures, disciplinary reasons or no show after the event has started.

All cancellation requests must be submitted to cesevents@uww.edu; provide registrant’s name, camp and medical documentation, if applicable. Refunds will be returned to name an address of payer.

We reserve the right to cancel any event due to low enrollment; in such as case, all fees paid will be refunded.

You can sponsor a registrant and cover all or partial fees. We have received requests in the past from schools, companies, organizations, friends and family members that would like to send their chosen registrant to a specific event. Check-in

Participants should plan to arrive at 10:00 a.m. for check-in at the Student Athletic Complex next to the football stadium, in the basement.

Confirmation Emails

Once you register, a confirmation email will be sent to your email account. Contact cesevents@uww.edu if you do not receive this confirmation email. Historically email accounts used from centurytel.net and wi.rr.com are blocked from receiving notifications from us or may end up in your spam folder. You are able to register using these accounts; however, you will not receive emails from us. Please make sure you have a working email address on file with us to be able to receive important announcements and updates about this event.

Parking

Parking permits are required on all vehicles parked on campus at all times, with the exception of 5 p.m. Fridays to 11:00 p.m. Sundays. Vehicles arriving after Parking Services office hours may purchase a parking permit from the vending machine located behind the Visitor Center in the service drive. Be aware that we advise you to leave all non-essential, portable electronic devices at home (iPod, Fitbit, cell phones, etc), but ultimately it is your decision. We will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Our staff looks forward to the event and the opportunity to work with you. Check-in will be in the Student Athletic Complex (SAC) which is located in the North end of parking lot 24 on the corner of Schwager Dr and Warhawk Drive. Parents are welcome to attend the college recruitment process discussion and tour as well as observe the trainings. Lastly, we will be ordering Subway for lunch and all campers will have the opportunity to place their order when checking in. Below is a tentative schedule for the clinic and if you have any further questions at any time please don’t hesitate to contact Coach Pottle pottlecj20@uww.edu or Coach Quamme quammer@uww.edu.

March Clinic: At this time we are planning to conduct the field sessions outside on the turf field in Perkins Stadium. We have also reserved gym space as a backup for the morning and afternoon training sessions if weather/field conditions do not allows us to be outside. Therefore, please prepare for the possibility of training outdoors as well as indoors and be sure to have shoes that are suitable for play on a gym floor in addition to your cleats.
August Clinic: Event will be held outside.

Facilities

UW-Whitewater's campus and facilities provide an outstanding environment to ensure that each camper has a rewarding experience. Sessions are conducted in the DLK Gymnasium, Perkins Stadium, as well as the Kachel Fieldhouse.

Ryan Quamme, Camp Director

Ryan Quamme

Ryan Quamme enters his seventh season as the head women's soccer coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2018.

Quamme entered the 2018 season ranked fifth among active NCAA Division III head coaches in winning percentage. He has led UW-Whitewater to four Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships, four WIAC Tournament titles and six NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the national quarterfinals in 2015.


Additional Staff

In addition to UW-Whitwater’s coaching staff the camp staff will consist of other collegiate, high school and youth club coaches. Current UW-Whitewater players will be staffed as camp counselors providing assistance to campers on and off the field for the duration of the camp.


Insurance

Registrants are encouraged to have their own health insurance as accident insurance provided by the University is limited. Each registrant will be covered by a limited accident insurance policy. The insurance includes primary coverage up to $10,000. Insurance does not cover pre-existing injuries and is for accidents only. The cost of insurance is included in the registration fee.
