Greg Bunge

Greg Bunge is currently the Director of Bands at Badger High School in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Greg hails from Arizona where he earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Arizona. He later accepted a Graduate Assistant position at Illinois State University where he earned his Master's of Music Performance in both Trumpet and Conducting. Greg taught in Illinois for four years before accepting the position at Badger High School, which is where he has set his roots for the past 28 years. During his tenure at Badger, Greg has served as the WSMA state jazz chair as well as the trumpet section coach for the WSMA honors jazz band. The Badger jazz ensemble has earned recognition at all levels, including the Essentially Ellington Festival in New York. Greg lives in Lake Geneva with his wife Lisa, who is a kindergarten teacher, and their daughter who is completing her degree in Nursing. During the summer, Greg is a Captain for the Lake Geneva Cruise Line.
