Who Can Apply?

The first cohort will be drawn from law enforcement officers from the UW-Whitewater service region. To apply for the program, a student should be a law enforcement officer with at least three years of experience, have an Associate’s Degree and have a GPA of at least 2.0 in their degree. Preference will be given to students who have completed all or most of the general education requirements for a bachelor’s degree at UW-Whitewater—such as students who have earned an Associate’s degree from UW-Colleges or a college-prep degree from MATC. Students who have not earned enough general education credits to be part of the first cohort are eligible to apply for future cohorts. They can increase likelihood of being accepted to the program by completing courses suggested by the UW-Whitewater Transfer Coordinator.
