UW-Whitewater at Rock County Pay Balance Due

Rock County: Podcast and Vodcast Basics

This event has been cancelled.  Check back to see if it will be offered later in 2019.

Podcasting is on the rise as an inexpensive and user-friendly way to reach large audiences interested in similar content. Join Reese Wood, local podcaster, former President of Janesville Community Radio Inc, and host/engineer of the WADR morning show as you learn how to create, manage, and promote a podcast using audio and video tools easily accessible on any computer. You will begin by developing a plan for the content, setup, and long-term maintenance of a podcast and utilize free software like Audacity or Soundcloud to put your plan into action. Finally, you will record a professional sounding audio podcast and post online for others to enjoy.  This event is available Adults age 18+.
