Learn how to make an arrangement using fresh flowers and permanent botanicals (artificial flowers) that you can use to decorate your home for the holiday season. We will demonstrate techniques for creating a design, assembly, and care.
Learn about the characteristics of flowers and plants that are beneficial to bees, birds, and other pollinators. We will share experiences and ideas for selecting both annuals and perennials that are helping to save the bees, providing habitat for birds and insects, and other creatures beneficial to the environment.
Learn environmentally friendly techniques for arranging flowers from your garden, farmer’s market or the supermarket. We will discuss floral design concepts, techniques for care, and tools to use to make an attractive arrangement.
