Youth MOVE, a national leader in youth voice is providing a FREE Young Adult Leadership Academy for Wisconsin young adults, ages 18-25 on August 5-6, 2017. Through a series of engaging learning styles – like team building, coaching, and experimental exercises, this Leadership Academy will enhance your leadership capabilities. You'll get the opportunity to develop your own personal leadership style, learn to apply it in your current role, and work through challenges facing youth leaders just like you.
By the end of this two-day Academy, you’ll understand how personal values, your culture, and your lived systems’ experience shapes your approach to leadership. Each young adult leader will identify your individual strengths and learn how to apply those strengths in leadership roles. We’ll work together to recognize the strengths of others and to build on each other’s strengths to develop meaningful partnerships. Most of all, you’ll understand what it means to be an effective youth advocate and leader!
The Academy is offered by master facilitators, Johanna Bergan and Raphaelle Richardson, both systems experienced advocates for youth who celebrate the opportunity to assist young adults in identifying their leadership potential!
