Leda Nath holds a Ph.D. (2002) from the University of Iowa in Sociology, emphasis in Social Psychology and Complex Organizations. She arrived at UW-Whitewater in Fall 2002. Her research interests span across various areas: social psychology; unpaid work, paid work, and leisure; gender; decision-making; and teaching & learning. She teaches face-to-face and online social research methods, basic social statistics, social psychology, sociology of family & work, organizations & society, plus general education courses. She enjoys mentoring undergraduates on research and advising students. She has served as the Department Chair. She has also held the Treasurer and then the President role for the Wisconsin Sociological Association.
