• Textbook rentals for no fee (already included in tuition)
• Access to six computer labs with free black & white printing, (350+ computers), open year round
• Overnight and weekend technology rentals (includes laptops, cameras, iPads, calculators, headphones, video game consoles/video games, DVDs, and more), no fee

• Students living in Pulliam Hall or Cambridge Apartments have access to building during Winter Break; Summer housing available in Starin Hall
• Winter Break housing is available in Wells Halls for $550. Funding may be available, email Sarah Hessenauer
• University Housing is open during breaks (ie: Thanksgiving, Spring Break, etc.)

• Pell Grants up to $5,900/year, must file for FAFSA
• State Grants up to $2,700/year, must file for FAFSA
• Eligible for Independent Student Status on FAFSA, which results in a low Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
• Emergency Aid available up to $1,000 through the Warhawk Emergency Fund
• Admission Application fee waiver
• Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) fee deferment
• Housing deposit fee deferment

• Main Campus Warhawk Pantry, Drumlin Dining Hall, first floor, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2-5pm (fall & spring), Thursdays 2-5pm (summer), little free pantry in the entryway open 24/7
• Rock Campus Food Pantry, lower level of Hyatt Smith Hall, open 24/7
• The Community Space at 834 E. Milwaukee in Whitewater, includes a food pantry and is open Tuesdays 8:30-11am, Wednesdays 3:30-7pm,  and Saturdays 8:30am-2pm. There are no income or residency requirements. The Little Free Pantry in their vestibule is open 24/7.

• Little Free Pantry in Irvin L. Young Memorial Library, 431 W. Center St., open during the library's open hours

• The Community Space at is a gathering place at 834 E. Milwaukee in Whitewater, where people can share food, clothing, housewares, furniture for FREE. All are welcome. There are no income or residency requirements.  Open Tuesday & Thursday 8:30-11am, Wednesday 3:30-7pm, and Saturday 8:30am-2pm.

• Warhawk Success Closet is a university initiative to provide students access to free professional and business appropriate attire. Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm, UC 146, 262-472-1471

• Full access health and free counseling services offered through University Health and Counseling Services, Ambrose Health Center (on-campus in Whitewater)
• Winther Counseling Lab, on campus in Winther Hall 3004, open to public, confidential, no cost, appts: (262) 472-2842, Mon.-Thurs., 9am-8pm. (on-campus in Whitewater)
• Eligible for state health insurance through Affordable Care Act
• Medicaid for foster students until age 26

• Handshake is UW-Whitewater's NEW online job board for on-campus and off-campus student jobs
• Part-time (5-10 hours/wk) throughout the semester
• On-campus jobs with Work Study
• Summer employment through University Housing, (may provide summer housing at a low cost), Admissions, First Year Experience, and other on-campus offices

• New students can move in 3 days early and participate in ULEAD, a leadership training program, open to new freshman, $100, Funding may be available.
• Students can select from over 200 student orgs to get involved with on campus!
