David Reinhart teaches Introduction to Liberal Studies, Critical Issues in Religious Studies, Religious Ethics, Philosophical and Religious Perspectives on Death and Dying, World of Ideas, Senior Thesis in Liberal Studies, and the Peace and Social Justice Capstone. He uses social media in his classes to advance communal learning. His research focuses on the dynamics of collective memory within narrative and its many modalities. Reinhart is interested in categories of hybridity that create opportunity for conflict, change, and peace building. He participates in regional and national conferences on technology and education, storytelling, and memory studies.
