In an effort to promote awareness of environmental justice for Native American water protectors and their allies, the UW-W Sustainability Office along with their sponsors are hosting "All for the Water" this Tuesday, Mar. 14th from 2pm to 5pm in the University Center. To kick off the free and public event, a panel of University of Wisconsin-Whitewater students are speaking on their experiences during their trip to Standing Rock, North Dakota. Following the student panel, Juliee de la Terre of Sacred Waters Sacred Lands Consulting will speak about the Enbridge pipeline expansion in Wisconsin and the potential water risk to Whitewater's campus. The event concludes with an evening presentation and concert by Bill Miller, Grammy Award winning Mohican-Stockbridge musician, artist and educator.
