Typically once or twice a year, UW-Whitewater Science Outreach puts on a Science Discovery Day to highlight what the UW-Whitewater Science departments have to offer! Students of all ages, from schools all around the area are invited to attend. Students get to see exciting demonstrations, participate in hands-on activities, walk through science research labs, and tour the science facilities! No matter what type of science you prefer we have a little bit of everything - physics, astronomy, and chemistry to biology and geography/geology. Students also have a chance to participate in a "meet and greet" with faculty and undergraduates to ask questions! The Science Discovery Days have been very popular with Grades 9-12 and prospective UW-Whitewater students. *This event is often scheduled to coincide with a Warhawk Premiere Day for visiting prospective students.
