More Information About Marketing

Undergraduate students at UW-Whitewater have the opportunity to tailor their degree with a wide variety of courses, as well as several emphases, minors and certificates. The college also offers a rich breadth of co-curricular opportunities, including the internationally-acclaimed UW-Whitewater AMA student organization and the Institute for Sales Excellence.

The Institute for Sales Excellence develops strong collaborations between faculty and businesses, offering opportunities for professional development, faculty internships and scholarly/practitioner research. It also serves as a regional resource for businesses and organizations by providing graduates, business training and networking opportunities.

The marketing emphasis in the MBA program develops a strong foundation for managerial marketing with course offerings that include artificial intelligence, digital marketing, brand management, consumer behavior, entrepreneurial marketing strategy and international marketing. The new online MS in Marketing provides a specialized 30-credit graduate degree that addresses the rapid digital transformation of consumer behavior and the field of marketing. The Marketing Department also offers two graduate certificates in Digital Marketing and Artificial Intelligence and Marketing Strategy that allow students to complete the MBA Marketing emphasis or MS in Marketing at a future point in time.


The UW-Whitewater AMA Chapter was named International Chapter of the Year at the International Collegiate Conference on April 13.
