Frequently asked questions

Welcome to the College of Education and Professional Studies!

We have advising staff who offer support to prospective and current UW-W students, whether first-year, continuing, transfer, re-entry, or post-baccalaureate, who are pursuing a major, minor, and/or teaching license in the College of Education and Professional Studies. In addition, we administer Admission to Professional Education.  This process is required for all teacher licensure programs.

The navigation at the left will provide you many more details on both advising and admissions.  The advising webpages are separated based on the types of students that we serve in order to address your individual needs.  Please let us know how we can help you during your time at UW-W.

Check your WINS account in your student center.  If your assigned advisor is Kyle Supianoski or Kelli Danielski, make an appointment through our front office.  Email to request an appointment, or stop by the Information Desk on the second floor of Winther Hall to set up an appointment.  If you are currently assigned an advisor through the Academic Advising and Exploration Center (AAEC) but have additional questions, please feel free to set up an appointment in the same manner.
