You may place cap and gown orders at the Salute to Grads event on October 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the University Bookstore, online through the University Bookstore, or in person at the bookstore. Payment is due at the time of ordering and prices are subject to change for orders placed after Friday, October 18. If you are eligible for an honor cord, you may purchase it at the bookstore for $10.98 plus tax. The bookstore will have a list of graduates who qualify to walk with honors. International sashes are available at the bookstore for $37 plus tax for one country (multiple countries available for additional fees). Be sure to order by Friday, October 18. Pick up your cap and gown from the University Bookstore during the week of Monday, December 16. Students choosing to participate in the ceremony must wear an approved cap and gown.

Pick up your seven complimentary commencement tickets at the Greenhill Center of the Arts Box Office November 25 - December 20 from 8:30am - 4pm Monday - Friday. Children under age two will be permitted to sit on an adult's lap, but all other guests will require a ticket for seating. A photo I.D. is required at pickup. Tickets are issued only once and, if lost, will not be replaced. Please note that state law and university policy prohibit you from selling your commencement tickets. Students who sell tickets will be reported to the police, as well as face university disciplinary action, which could affect their degree.
Pick up your cap and gown if you have not already done so. The University Bookstore will open at 8 a.m. Arrive at the Williams Center/Kachel Fieldhouse at least one hour before your ceremony starts and report to Gym 1 on the second floor. You must check in at the Registrar’s table to pick up your name card and photo information. Remember to distribute your tickets to family and friends prior to the ceremony. Please let your family and guests know that UW-W Empower will be selling roses at the ceremony. Single roses are available for $5, double roses are $10, and a half dozen is $20. All of the funds raised go directly to UW-W student scholarships.
