Getting Started

Are you just beginning an online course? Are you considering taking an online course for the first time? Stop here to get an idea of what you need to know to get started. You might take the Online Course Readiness Assessment first, to help you determine whether an online course would be a good choice for you and suit your personal learning style. Then, check your system to make sure you are ready to begin working in D2L.

Online Course Readiness Assessment

The Online Course Readiness Assessment is designed to help you see whether or not an online course is a good idea for you. The Assessment has three separate parts, covering Time Management, Technology, and Class Preferences. If you score less than 70 on any part of the Assessment, you should definitely spend some time learning more about what you will be doing when you take an online course in order to make sure that this is the right choice for you.

The Assessment will open in a new browser window; close the browser window when you are done with all three parts.
