  • Tuition estimates are for one full academic year of study (Fall and Spring) with students taking between 12 and 18 credits per semester.
  • Housing and meal costs are estimates. Prices vary based on room and number of meals per week.
  • The estimates do not include laboratory, course or other fees.
  • Tuition and fees are subject to change at the discretion of the University of Wisconsin Board Of Regents.
  • All University of Wisconsin campuses require health insurance. It is mandatory. Rates are currently $2150 per year, but subject to yearly cost adjustment. Students will be enrolled in the UW System Required Health insurance policy by the univesity and charges will be added to the student's bill.
  • If you plan to bring dependents, please reach out to  intladmission@uww.edu for instructions on submitting financial certification.
  • For purposes of the F visa program, UW-Whitewater estimates personal expenses at $3210. Each individual has different spending habits. You may spend more or less than the estimates.

  • The Proof of Finances Total includes both estimates of the cost for education and living in the United States as required by the F visa program.  This is not a guaranteed amount you will be charged by the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.   The estimate includes all expenses: tuition, fees, books, supplies, maintenance (lodging and food), health insurance, taxes, and miscellaneous (clothing, local travel, recreation, toiletries, telephone, etc.).  Each individual has different spending habits.  You may spend more or less than the estimates.
