English Language Scores

All accepted scores must be acquired within 24 months immediately prior to application for admission at UW-Whitewater.

Only one appropriate score below is required. You do not need to submit multiple scores.

*Freshman applicants only

Undergraduate applicants will be considered to have met English Language Requirement if they satisfy one of the conditions below:

• International freshman applicants who attended for at least 2 years and graduated from a US high school
• International transfer applicants who have taken Freshman Composition with a grade of C or better at a regionally accredited college in the US
• International transfer applicants who have taken at least one full year of undergraduate course work) at an accredited college in one of the exempt countries
• All undergraduate international applicants who are citizens of and have resided for the 2 years immediately prior to application for admission in the following countries:
