Van Galder Bus Company offers several routes which are advantageous to UW-Whitewater students. A route from Whitewater to Janesville has been established and is $6 one-way. Once in Janesville there are connections to East Troy (WI), Madison (WI), Milton (WI), Milwaukee (WI) Muskego (WI), Chicago (IL), Chicago O'Hare Airport (IL), Chicago Midway Airport (IL), Rockford (IL), and Beloit (IL).
The most common usage of the Van Galder Bus Company is for travel from the Chicago O'Hare Airport to Whitewater and vice versa. Chicago O'Hare Airport -> Janesville (one-way $29) and then Janesville -> Whitewater (one-way $6)
Tickets for the Van Galder Bus may be purchased online, in person at a depot, or even upon boarding a bus in some instances. Those waiting to purchase a ticket until they board may be denied due to limited availability.
