The Office of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is responsible for the development and maintenance of data resources to support the strategic planning and policy-making processes at the university, fulfilling compliance reporting requirements at both the federal and state levels, facilitating the dissemination of data in a timely and accurate manner, and promoting institutional effectiveness through the development and use of self-assessment and benchmarking tools. Three teams comprise the activities of the IRP office: business intelligence and data management, research and policy, and data, analysis, and accountability.
IRP is the primary source for official campus data, complying with federal, state, and university reporting standards and requirements. This website provides a variety of reports and dashboards for data information and exploration, as well as useful tools related to data management and reporting at the university. If data is needed that is not available on the website, a Data Request Form is available for ad-hoc requests.
